Allmi Audit Team Welcomes Wayne Clarke

Wayne Clarke of Cheshire Training  Solutions Training is the latest additions to ALLMI’s instructor auditing team.

Playing a vital role in the maintenance and development of training standards, ALLMI’s team of auditors covers the whole of the UK and Ireland, monitoring the delivery of operator courses to ensure that scheme requirements are upheld.

ALLMI CEO, Tom Wakefield, comments “ALLMI instructors are regularly audited on an unannounced basis.

With this practice forming such a crucial part of the accreditation system, auditors not only need to be experienced ALLMI instructors with a significant degree of industry knowledge, but also have to undergo a detailed Auditor Development Programme before being approved for the process.”

He continues “With our instructor base growing significantly year on year, it’s important that we continually strengthen in terms of auditing resource and so we are delighted to welcome Wayne to the team.”

Odd Ball Run

Please Read Wayne and Laurence’s full story below –

The oddball run

A 2 day social motoring event with fun challenges, optional speed tests, overnight stay, awards ‘do’ and its all to raise lots of money for a great cause.

Each morning and afternoon we will be issued with a list of challenges and we will try to achieve as many as we can in the 2 day event. We will need to be imaginative to get them all ticked off.

The challenges could be photos or video of us doing an activity, collect various items, etc. We Dont know exactly what they all are now, but here are a few examples:
– Get our picture taken on a canal boat, with the people whose boat it is.
– Take a video of our team singing a rock ballad, with at least two members of the public.
– Win a sporting contest (in these next few hours) and provide pictures/video to prove it.
– Make and wear an ‘Odd Ball Run’ hat.

We’re are both putting money into it and would really appreciate it, if you could spare anything that would help us to raise more money than our target is set at,, every donation counts no matter how big or how small, it will help to make a difference!

The fundraising charity is called Free@last

free@last was established in 1999. Our mission is to improve the lives of the children and young people of Nechells. We do this by providing new opportunities (adventure, exploration, broadening horizons etc.), activities, mentoring and support for children and young people. To further their interests we also work with their families, other agencies and relevant professionals. We provide a range of youth clubs, sports, education and career programmes and family activities/residentials. We also run the Duke of Edinburgh Awards (DofE) scheme, Nechells Young Leaders programme, 1-2-1 and family mentoring and debt and benefit advice. As an innovative charity we also run 2 businesses (Freax Adventures and the Family Fun Zone]). These not only generate income for the charity, but employ local people, including teenagers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Master raconteur and accomplished after-dinner speaker Gyles Brandreth has been announced as the new host for the FLTA Awards for Excellence at The International Centre on 27th February 2016.

Outgoing host Martin Bayfield was sadly called away due to 6 Nations commitments, and in a sensational stroke of luck the Association has secured Mr Brandreth, one of the most sought-after award hosts in the country.

Peter Harvey, CEO of the FLTA, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have such a well-known and well-respected lead presenter on board for Awards 2016. Gyles has attracted rave reviews for his wit, warmth and wisdom, and we can’t wait to see him in action for what will be a hilarious night!”
